my CT scan revealed a calcium score of 2196, I could not find any commentary for this high score….wondering since a 400 score is already high !

This is a very high calcium score and corresponds to coronary atherosclerosis. We would recommend treating as such, focusing on treating symptoms and applying secondary prevention therapy.

Found this very interesting, a little scary, and I’m very thankful, because I just had this scan done a few weeks ago and they found that I have 80% blockage in my widow maker. Next Wednesday, my favorite doctor, Dr. Alaine Bouchard, is going to fix me up hopefully with a stent and I will able to walk up stairs and be able to breathe lol ❤️ I encourage anyone with family history of heart problems along with cholesterol problems to have this test done! It can change and even save your life!!
