Dr. Anant Kharod is a native of the sunny coasts of Tampa, FL. He developed a keen interest in science from a young age and after high school attended a combined six-year BA/MD program at the University of Missouri in Kansas City. Upon graduating medical school at the age of 24, he became one of the youngest physicians in the country. He began residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, training under the tutelage of Dr. Tinsley Harrison. Dr. Kharod recently secured a coveted cardiology fellowship at the University of South Florida and will return to Tampa to continue his training. He has several hobbies including weightlifting, diet and nutrition, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
